Navigating organizational culture is a critical skill everyone needs to have in their professional toolkit. In this session, Janine T. Hackshaw, Senior Organizational Development Consultant and Executive Coach, will provide insights for navigating organizational culture and highlight how it impacts overall career advancement and leadership opportunities. As part of the conversation, she will touch on the value of authenticity in the workplace, understanding organizational norms and ‘fit’ and embracing courage to step up and create your own career narrative.

Janine received her MS in Organizational Learning and Development from Suffolk University and her MBA from Morgan State University. Her BA in Communication Studies has been the foundation for much of her work and interests, which center on navigating intercultural issues and improving group dynamics. She has played instrumental roles in several group relations and leadership conferences in the Metro-DC area.
Janine is a Co-Active trained executive coach, MBTI and PMD Pro certified, and received her certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she is fluent in Spanish and an avid world traveler and culture lover.
